The Story
Hypothesis
My wife started a small, out-of-home bakery and needed a simple way to track incoming orders. What began as a request for a basic calendar quickly turned into a vibe-coded opportunity to build something more interactive—one that could plan both bake days and delivery or pickup days. As the workflow became clearer, the project naturally expanded to include customer, order, and item management.
The Build
The app was built and hosted on Replit. To keep things lightweight and resilient, it supports manually generated JSON backups, ensuring order and customer records can be recovered if the site were ever to fail.
